Dulin, Helen E. Woutila who passed away on 8/4/2009 at the age of 89

HELEN E. DULIN AGE: 89 FLORHAM PARK Helen E. Dulin, 89, passed from this earth on Tuesday August 4, at her home in Florham Park. Born in New Vernon, NJ, to Otto and Eva Woutila, she grew up in Jersey City. After graduating from the Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing in 1941, she served in the Navy Nurse Corps as an RN. It was there that she met her future husband Loren (Jim), a Navy pilot, in Lake City, Fla. After the war, Helen and Jim settled in Florham Park. A lifelong worker, she volunteered at The Presbyterian Church, the Alzheimer's Daycare Friendship House, the American Red Cross, and the Crestwood Nursing Home. In recognition of her dedication to her community, she was the recipient of the 2002 AARP Andrus Award. Helen is predeceased by her husband, and son Henry. She is survived by sons Loren Jr. of Marshall's Creek, PA., Robert of East Amwell Twp, NJ, and Curtis of York, PA. She is also survived by ten Grand-children, and five Great-Grand-children. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22, at 12 noon, at The Calvary Presbyterian Church, 144 Ridgedale Avenue, Florham Park. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her name to Calvary Presbyterian Church.
